just past cleric beast now and THE MESSENGER HAT DANCE OMG. This is a fine look!!

Interesting, I wonder if that's a glitch in your game somehow? I just got myself killed by the fella near the great bonfire lamp and sure enough my echoes went into one of the enemies down on the street. I only saw one loose bloodstain but I've seen glowy eyes several times. That's very mysterious! I don't have any solution unfortunately but rest assured it is supposed to be there, maybe it's something to do with the area transitions? I hope it starts working for you, you deserve your blechos! (And hahaha yah can you imagine how much work online would be? Plus totally not ps1)

To clarify, when you say bloodstain do you mean the online feature that shows you where other people died, or do you mean retrieving your echoes after death? Because the latter is definitely in there, both in puddle and glowing-eye forms! I do think they may disappear sometimes when moving between areas tho, I forgot to grab mine from the first werewolf and they weren't there when I went back. But I've died a few other times and retrieved them! If it's the online you're talking about tho never mind me

I hope this is an OK use of the message board, but I just kinda wanted to start a thread where we can shout out the details and stuff that we really love!

Mostly I wanted to say how great the floating madman's knowledge is, seeing that lil skull through the fence was such a relief! I'm so intrigued by the 3 and 7 insight doors in the workshop too, I feel like she's done such an amazing job adapting the structure and pacing of the game to the ps1 era, with insight being this more old-school unlock kinda like the stars in Mario 64. What a game!

What are y'all's favorite details and features?

What a masterpiece!! I'm delighted by the surprises and by the familiar things, I'm just constantly delighted. The little floating madman's knowledge sprite might be my favorite detail so far! I'm not very far, I just came through the dilapidated manor, but does anyone know if I missed the torch? I remember her using a torch in one of the preview vids, and that house felt like I was supposed to have it. Anyway thank you so much for making this incredible game!!
